Glad to know you are Ok, but super bummer about your tree friends. I am attached to mine as well. since mine teach me things like taking pine pollen for my hot flashes, i wonder if yours, thought of you as a good egg and did what they could to protect your home even if they could not save themselves...

Thinking of you and how the trees knew how to fall around you. Amazing writing. You are, indeed a writer. I best put some money down on one of your books soon...just so that I can write a review. I also have books for sale on Amazon. Poems in fact. Fondly, Elizabeth Lisa Ann Cable

It was an incredible spectacle for sure. Never seen some of things I witnessed. I worried about the Hummers and wild life, but they know exactly what to do. The trees bent and swayed with such force I could not imagine their surprise. It went on for two days here.

We didn’t get hit as hard as some, but it was enough to open my heart to those that did.

Nothing like ground zero I am sure.

Yay! I knew that when you rose out of the mud, some good writing would follow! Looking forward to it! I'm glad you are well and were able to save your senses of wonder and humor from the flood.

Good read, James. Killed anyone yet? If, as you write, it comes to that, use the pink Himalayan salt. You will thank me later.

Do you need anything?

jhon dee! hooo that must be a 'something special' to read! And i gotta admit, i didnt notice at first baal helene meant you where ravaged by the hurricane!!! foolish me! My mother is name Helene so i cant see a deadly hurricane as my sweet mother name. She loves to short her name to LN btw =)

So... selfish me at first tought...no more show! Sad stuff=( but i see there is so much you did before i heard about you. i'll be diving in your past work meanwhile you build back better ( just kiddin for the bbb stuff) I sincerly hope you got help from kind stranger soul, good neighbour and friends.

I bet someone with a good enough spirit to smile at the first sunlight of the day after disaster will surely have lady luck smile back at him soon.

p.s: weird question, but did you manage to get pictures of the outside after or the watery inside when the crashing window happened? maybe you got camera's set on yard and records of it? I would be sooooooo interested in seeing this hurricane from the inside.

Good luck to ya and wish you peace after the storm (this time it fits well)

I wondered if the highest point of the East Coast was affected by Helene. Great to hear that you are well and survived her wrath personally unscathed.
